Happy 2nd Birthday Paisley!

Today was Paisley Birthday!!! We decided that we would do a Minnie Moused themed Birthday for her and she LOVED it. So here are a lot of pics from our fun day of Celebrating Princess Paisley!
Of course we started the morning off with breakfast in bed...But she did eat it in our bed. Not sure how she sweet talked her dad into that, but she did. She had eggs with ham and strawberries on the side.
This is her trying to show you she is 2. Couldn't quite figure out how to keep just 2 fingers up:)
Showing off her beautiful crown

So our day didn't go quite as planned. The air show was supposed to be this weekend so we got up early got everyone ready and were out the door at 9:00 AM. That is pretty amazing around our house. We headed over to the base to find out that due to weather the air show had been cancelled. So we got out and looked through the fence at the cool airplanes they had. Then it was decision time...we had to do something we were already for the day so we decided to head home pack some lunches and head to the zoo.  The kids are at the new dino dig site a the zoo.
Ty and Peyton watching the kiddos dig.

It was a rainy day so which made Hattie a very happy girl. She LOVES umbrellas!
Since it was Paisley's Birthday we decided to let the kiddos ride the carsasel. Pais chose this beautiful horse to ride. The workers were so nice to let me put her back on it after we had gotten off of it so I could take a picture of her. Couldn't take pictures while we were going lots of kids and only 2 adults makes it a little impossible!

This is Hattie's new favorite face to pull, but she usually only pulls it when its not expected and occasionally when prompted to do so for pics or other entertainment purposes:)

Wishing I was just relaxing in a tree taken a nice afternoon nap!
Lots of pictures trying the impossible...getting all the kids to look and smile at the camera all at the same time.
Pretty sure this is the closest we got:)
Peyt loves the aquarium!
After we were done at the zoo we headed home to make a Birthday feast. We had manacotti, cesear salad, cantaloupe, corn and garlic bread. Pais loved her feast!
After dinner it was present time!!! We had 2 spare kids over with us so don't be alarmed you didn't miss the birth announcements of 2 others:) Benson and Michaela came over to play with us while there parents went out. (We rotate babysitting each others kids. Its a lot cheaper than paying a babysitter to watch 5 kids:)
Porter picked Paisley out some awesome sun glasses
Hattie got Pais a Minnie Mouse backpack
Benson and Michaela gave Pais a Princess pop up tent. Love the smiles!
Peyton loved all the wrapping paper on the floor
Land picked Paisley out a mini doll with crib. Pais LOVES babies
Great Grandpa and Grandma Barker sent Paisley a doll with lots of accessories. They must of picked up on her love for dolls.
Paisley got a Minnie Mouse Dress and Shoes also.
So this is what happens when you leave cake on the table un-attended in the morning...a 2 year old finds it decides to sample it and re-decorate it. Oh well at least she is super cute!
Peyt was spoiled with her first piece of Birthday cake. We figure we better get her trained for her big day in December:)

2nd Grade

I think the picture speaks for itself!

4th of July

We had a blast this 4th of July. We decided it would be fun to invite friends over for fireworks and treats. Well the neighbors decided to get in on the action to so we had over 40 people over for fireworks. We actually moved up to the neighbors house to do them at because the road in front of his house is flatter than ours. Thanks Ron! We started around 8:00 hoping to be done by 8:30ish, but everyone came loaded with fireworks that we didn't get done until 10:00. We were even setting multiple ones off at the same time. To say the least it was a blast!
And the fun began.  The "older" boys had a lot of fun setting fireworks off
Paisley enjoyed the Patriotic cupcakes the most!
Hattie with her traditional head set on  ready for the loud booms! Thank u US Air Force:)

Landen really loves himself a good sparkler

So the ear muffs worked so well Hattie found herself a nice spot on the blanket and fell asleep

Paisley and our cute neighbor girl Morgan. My girls adore her and she is so good with them!
