Finally!

I finally got around to catching up. I had lost my usb cord so I could download pictures, but I realized today that I could use the one for the video camera. Hope you enjoy!

Camping

This weekend we decided to head out and do some camping. We want to go out as much as possible before Ty leaves again. FYI for those of you that don't already know. Ty is leaving in June and will be gone for 4 months :( So we figure we need to make our weekends as exciting as possible. We went out to one of our favorite spots Louisville State Rec. The weather was really nice on Friday. Our friends the Millets had gone out the night before and were planning on leaving Friday night. So the boys got to play with their friends on Friday. There was supposed to be a big storm roll in on Friday, but it hit just south of us. It was a lot of fun watching the lightening and hearing the thunder, but not being close enough to feel the effects of it. We had so much fun!! We love to camp in fact we are going again this weekend. (Weather permitting) So if anyone is up for some camping we would love company.

Landen loved poking the fire with sticks.

Mom I just wanted to have a black and brown stripped shirt! Porter loves the dirt. I was planning on changing them into camping clothes before we left, but as you can see I forgot. Oh well they were having a lot of fun.

This was Landen's first time climbing a tree. He was a little nervous at first, but after watching his friend for a little bit he got the hang of it and had a blast climbing up and down.

Landen and Manning collecting fire wood so we could roast some marshmellows.

Hattie is such a great camper! She loves to be outside! She was so cute at night. In the middle of the night the wind started blowing and the tent started to make some flapping noise. She was asleep on her belly and she woke up, got up on her hands and started looking around like she was trying to figure things out. Then she got this big smile on her face looked around for a few more seconds than layed back down and went right back to sleep. The excitment on her face will forever be embeded on my mind.

This picture was taken about a half hour after we got to the campsite. Like I said before he loves the dirt!

Easter

For Easter Grandpa and Grandma Barker, Brigette and Braxton came. We had so much fun with them. We took them to one of our favorite places the Zoo. We spent the WHOLE day there.

On Saturday the Easter Bunny made a visit to our house. The kids were so excited. When Porter woke up he noticed the trail of jelly beans from his room and he planted himself on the ground and began eating each jelly bean. We finally got him to walk pass some of them to come down staris to find his basket.

After we played with or Easter treasures we got ready and went to an Easter bbq and easter egg hunt. The kids had so much fun looking for eggs.

On Sunday we got up and went to Church after churh we let the kids decorate Easter Eggs because we ran out of time on Saturday. They all decorated eggs than we hid them and let them find them until dinner was done.
We had so much fun this Easter and we were really sad to see Grandpa, Grandma, Brigette, and Braxton leave. Thanks so much for coming and playing with us.

A boy and his tractor

Popcorn, little boy, and a tractor. Could life get any better?

Swimming at Kids Body Shop

Landen is such a great swimmer. We had him in swim lessons last summer and he still talks about them. He is so excited for this summer because he is going to go to swim lessons again.

Porter is a little dare devil when it comes to the pool. This kid has NO fear. He likes to see how far he can walk down before he is completly covered in water. He has such a fun time when we go.

All our fishes! They all love the water so much. Even Hattie! She doesn't even mind when she gets splashed by her brothers. I didn't get any pictures of them in the pool, because I was to busy playing with them in the pool.

For Reals

You will never believe this, but I drew this picture while the plate was on top of my head. We did this at a baby shower and I was amazed when I pulled my plate down to find this cute little girl. I think I found my hidden talent. Do you think I could sell it on E-bay?

Something new!

I can only think of one other time that I have wrote about things like this blog was a journal. I left the post on for about a day and then I removed it. Well I am about to do something new.
I have just finished reading a post on one of my friends blogs. It is a journey that she is going through and has for the last year. The way she words things and the things that she has accomplished are very inspiring to me. So with her inspiration I am starting a new journey a journey to get what I like to call my sexy back! (Thanks Luella!)
After having 3 kids in 4 years a lot has changed. My last 2 kids were only 16 months apart. As most of you know your life and body changes. Your life revolves around you children and you begin to lose little bits of yourself and especially time for yourself. Now I am not complaining in away way. I love my children more than anything, but I will admitt at night I am very tired and I am just ready to go to bed. But its time, its time to start moving forward and progressing!! Its time to start to accomplish the goals that I have set for myself! Its time to start gaining control over things that I don't feel I have control over. Its time to change and its time to get my sexy back!!
