Hattie!!

Yeah Hattie is here!! We are all really excited!! On Monday I went to my scheduled doctors appointment. When I got there the hook me up to a monitor that monitors the babies heart rate and contractions. I was on that for over an hour because the baby wasn't moving as much as the doc would like her to. So after an hour they let me off of it and I went in the ultrasound room. My doctor looked at the stress test and noticed that the baby had a d-cel. Which means that when I had a contraction the babies heart rate went down. There was only one d-cel on the sheet, but she didn't like the fact that I was already 40 weeks and the baby was doing this. So she insisted that I get started. I didn't want to be started I wanted to go on my own, so I asked her if we could wait until Wednesday and she said she would give me one and half hours to get things situated at home and get to the hospital. So thats what we did. My Mom, Grandma, and Grandpa were driving here from Utah. So I called my mom and asked her where she was and they said they were about a half hour away. So I went home finished packing my mom and grandparents showed up we gave them a quick rundown on our routines and left to the hospital. We got to the hospital at about 5:00 P.M. They had me hooked up to the machines and ready to go by 5:30. Around 8:45 P.M. I was at a 5 and ready for my epidural. Then at about 11:30 P.M. I was ready to go. I looked at Ty and said her birthday will probably be on the 23rd. Well at 11:45 P.M. The doctor was ready to go. She gave me quick instructions on what she wanted me to do and then had me push. All the sudden the baby nurse said look at those cheeks. I was shocked that Hattie's face was already out. I pushed again and she was out. She was born at 11:52 P.M. So her birthday was on the 22nd which was my due date. Everything was so quick and easy. I didn't tare or anything so the recovery has been a breeze!! She weighed 7lbs 4.5 oz and was 19.5 inchs. She is so sticken cute and we are having a blast having her home!! Her brothers love her and think she is pretty neat. They both are always wanting to hold her and help do things for her. I am so grateful for such good kids and great family that are helping us out!!

FYI

Yes I am still pregnant! I thought she would be wanting to come out and play by now, but she is just as cozy as can be! Landen really wants her to come out and play. Yesterday he came into my room while I was resting as said, "Mom I need to talk to Hattie" So he began talking to my chest so I showed him where Hattie was and he said, "Oh the big bump" I said yes and he asked "well what are the little bumps," I just had to laugh. Well he began telling Hattie that she needs to come out and play with him. He does this quite often. He is really excited to have a little sister which makes me excited. I don't think Porter quite understands what is going on, but he sure does love babies, so I think he is going to be okay with it. Yesterday I let both the boys look at their scrapbooks of when they were babies and they were both very excited to see them. We are just trying to get them ready for the big changes that are sure to come. (Hopefully really soon!!)

Happy Birthday!

So Landen turned 4 today! Its crazy to think that he is already 4. Time flies when your having fun right! Since his Birthday was today we had his Birthday party yesterday! He wanted to have an airplane birthday party!! And boy did we! My friend Holly enjoys making cakes in her spare time (She has 4 kids, I don't know when she has spare time, but she makes the most amazing cakes!) so she volunteered to make Landen's cake. Which I was really grateful for since I don't really have that much energy at the moment. We got big styrofoam airplanes and lots of little airplanes for all the kids to play with. They all seemed to have a fun time. We also had a airplane pinata. That things was the toughest thing to break. We let all the kids take 3 swings at it (there were 12 kids here) then we let the moms that stayed take a swing at it. Then we finally had Ty pitch it to Isaak. It broke, but Ty had to spread it around. It was pretty fun trying to get the candy to come out. We then opened presents and sang Happy Birthday then we dug into the cake which was delicious! (Thanks again Holly!)
Today was Landen's actual Birthday. We have a tradition around our house that on your Birthday you get to eat breakfast in bed. I got up and was trying to get breakfast made before Landen woke up, but he won me. So Ty had him come into our room and play on the bed. So when I finished breakfast he ate it in our bed. This tradition has really turned into the whole family eats breakfast together in bed. So we spread our a blanket and all enjoyed our airplane pancakes in bed. After we finished Landen got to open his birthday presents from us. He seemed to have a really enjoyable Birthday!!

We need your help!!

So with a growing family such as ours we've decided that maybe its time to buy another vehicle. We've had a hard time trying to figure out which one would best suit our needs so we need some help.

Our first option is the the tire dragon. Porter thinks this one is pretty cool since it does have spikes all down the middle of it, but I don't know if I'm really into having a black car, but hey you never know I could learn to love it?

Option number 2 is Landen's personal favorite. It is a lot bigger then the cars we have now so it would fit our family and Landen really likes to use side walk chalk, so I guess this one is in the running. The only down fall is what if it rains and all our nice artwork gets washed away. Something to think about right?

Option 3 is well just a little bit different. I kind of worry about the boys getting cut by all the bottle caps, but hey it is creative!

Option 4 is one that really caught my eye. I mean how could it not. Isn't this every persons dream? To have a car that will always remind you and your kids to brush and floss This car even has proper brushing techniques on the side of the car. I would never really have to worry about my kids having poor dental hygiene.

Option 5 is really my favorite! It has really wood paneling, I mean what more can I say it is the car of my dreams. It even comes with a boat, so I know Ty will be okay with this one. Plus it is big enough for the whole family and then some!!

So as you can see we have a really hard decision to make!
