What we have been up to...

Yes, it has been forever since I blogged last so here is a quick up-date on what has gone on...
We moved into our house...Pictures are to come soon. I really want to have everything done before I start taking pictures and posting them.
Ty switched jobs. He is now an instructor which hopefully means no deployments for a while:)
Landen took swimming lessons at the Lied center. He had a lot of fun doing them. Porter and Hattie were good supporters when we took him, even though they really wanted to get in.
We registered Landen for Kindergarten. CRAZY!! I really just want to keep him home with me, but he is so excited to go.
We signed Landen up for T-Ball. We are so excited to watch his games this summer.
We are trying to potty train Porter, but I have a feeling we should switch to Hattie instead. He doesn't really mind wearing diapers. The only problem is I mind changing them:)
And I think the last thing is... baby number four should be here at the end of August. We are so excited for another one. Last Wednesday I went to my Doctors appointment and we tried to get a sneak peek at what it was, but those legs were pressed together and everytime the doctor tried to get the baby to move it just closed the tighter. Oh well we will have to wait for our 20 week appointment in April.
Well I think that does it for now. Maybe I will not wait for 2 months to post something again. I guess we will wait and see...

Not this Girl!

Before Hattie came everyone was telling me how much calmer girls were compared to the boys, but not our little Rae! This girl is full of spunk. Her most recent new hobby is art work. She is quite an artist and is very proud of herself! She doesn't believe her artwork should be on paper because they just get put in a drawer or thrown away. She believes her artwork deserves a place on the wall. She has now placed her artwork on the wall by the stairs, on our bedroom door, and most recently in a striking black permant color on the pantry door. Oh we love the girl, but we don't see the calm girl we were expecting! FYI the boys never drew on the walls at this young of age. They to have recently deceided that artwork is for furniture instead of paper. They took markers to their beds and the couch. Luckily they were washable, but to say the least we don't have markers anywhere they can reach. Oh the joys!

Kiddos!

I know the only reason most of you look on our blog is to see a picture of the kiddos. So here they are at the Zoo!

ALS Graduation

Ty graduated from Airman Leadership School in February. We are so glad to have the class done with and back to life as we know it!

Snow...Snow...and MORE Snow!

This winter and been one of the coldest and snowiest winters I can remember! We got a ton of snow. In fact just about a week and half ago we have more snow. Luckly now its all gone and spring is here. While the snow was here we had some fun!
Our big snowman that finally melted away! The kids had a lot of fun trying to find rocks for his face.
One of the benefits of living in our own house is the neighbors that have been around for a long time. We brought the kids out on afternoon and Ty was pulling them on our little sled. Our neighbor came out talked to him for a minute, went back home, and then brought over 2 radio flyer sleds, 2 regualr sleds, and a saucer. He even sledded down the road with the kids. (He is like 65 years old and is a retired school teacher.) After a while he went home and than came back over with some orange rolls his wife had made. (She is also a retired school teacher). We love having great neighbors!
All the kids getting ready to go down the sidewalk on the sled!

Happy Birthday to me! (2 months ago:)

This is what happens when you don't post for awhile! You get to play catch up on all the fun! In January I celebrated my 27th Birthday. Ty and the kids made this delicious chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, cake. I wasn't planning on doing anything for my Birthday since we just moved into the house, but Ty suprised me. He had arranged for our friends the Hank's to come over and entertain our kids while we went to a really nice resturant, Spezia. It was good, but I don't think we'd go back. It was really funny to go there because we felt so out of place. I am the nicest place we go to is Texas Roadhouse and well if you haven't been there they let you throw peanut shells on the floor. Yep, we are high class! Oh well, we love it! After dinner we stopped and got some ice cream

Deer

One of the funnest things about our new place (and a reason we bought it) is all the creatures and critters. These 2 does spent the day under our pine tree back in January. The neighbors told us that for the last 2 years a doe has bedded down under the pine tree and had her babies. We are not expecting this to happen this spring. I think she'd be smart to go find a much quieter backyard:) Last Monday we went for a walk and saw 13 deer! We are loving this area!

War Paint

Back in January Porter and Landen thought it would be fun to hide in the bathroom and color all over themselves with permanent marker. Yes, the marker is all over his face, hair, arms, stomach, and legs. He walked around for several days like this, just each day it was a shade lighter. Landen didn't want us to take a picture of him. He was a little embarrassed! He didn't have any on his face, but did on his legs, stomach, and arms. Oh the Joys of Boys!
