Halloween

This year for Halloween Hattie was a leaf fairy (funny story...We had decided that we weren't going to buy a new costume for Hattie and she would be something we already had. On Friday we decided that we should figure out what costumes we were going to use. We put on the chicken costume, she looked cute, but she looked like Landen did when he wore it. So we put on the Spider costume, but this time she looked like Porter did when he wore it, so of course we loaded the kiddos in the car at 6:30 P.M. and headed to Target to see what we could find. This costume was all they had left that would fit her, and we loved it. She looked so cute!! And she looked like a little girl:) Landen was Dash from the Incredibles and Porter was Batman on Friday and then on Saturday he was a cowboy who was supposed to be riding a horse, but he didn't want the horse and he didn't want the cowboy hat either, so he basically was just a boy walking around asking for "nandy".

Getting ready to head to the Learning Center to go Trick-or-Treating.

A big group photo before they went Trick-or-Treating. (The Learning Center is a free facility for people living in the Bellevue School District or is in the Military. There is no other place in the country like it. It is a free place to go that has paid Pre-school teachers. They sing songs, have stroy time, and make crafts. They have two large rooms full of toys and books. Landen is also doing a reading program where he gets one on one time with one of the teachers who goes over some new words and books and then he gets to take the books home to practice and brings them back to exchange for new ones. We LOVE this place. Porter was to busy playing to stop for a picture, but Landen and Hattie are in it.

One Saturday we headed over to the Hank's house for the wards Trunk or Treat. We went a few hours early so we could carve pumpkins and play in the leaves. It was so much fun!!!

Landen and Hunter posing for a picture

Spider Man (Stephen), Dash (Landen), Tiger (Kael), Iron Man/was a tiger before (Austin). These boys were just running around playing together having a great old time!!

After the Trunk-or-treat Ty took the boys around the neighborhood to Trick-or-Treat, while Hattie (who was asleep) and me passed out candy. We had such a fun time this Halloween. (Yes that is Ty being caught stealing our kids candy:)
